Absztrakt (kivonat)
The aim of the research was to analyse the changes in rural areas after the political changes. The researched area is a network of small villages. We were interested in several topics. Did the process of village destruction become slower or is it still continuing today? What effects of the political changes on the demography of the region and on the system of the structure of agricultural production? Should all of the villages remain created by feudalistic economy or should those disappear which are unable to adapt present circumstances? What could be the function of those villages that are worth retaining? What could be the base of micro-regional development in the areas of small villages? We came across several emerging questions during our research, but it became clear that the majority of the „troubled” villages can be saved.
