Absztrakt (kivonat)
The present study aims to review the effectiveness and trends in the legislation of international migration. Considering the migration legislation, each state, as a sovereign entity, can decide whom to let into the state’s territory, whom to reject, or which entitlements will be provided to immigrants. In addition, the study presents a possible solution to the global migration issue: international cooperation and joint action against illegal migration are essential so that the countries can enforce their interests within a multilateral framework.
