Absztrakt (kivonat)
The study deals with the examination of the partisan documents of Senta from a source-criticism perspective, peculiarly regarding the authenticity of the post-war reports and testimonies. During the analysis of the papers, it was unveiled that in the case of many documented events distortion was present by exaggerations, inaccuracies and personal values. The examined judicial records frequently hold contradictory statements, by which the reliability of the reports is cast doubt on. The research determines that while the records sometimes correct the exaggerations which can be found in the reports, they still cannot be regarded as totally objective sources. The study also highlights, how the political atmosphere and personal motivations influenced the content of the documents. In light of these factors, the historical use of the partisan documents is only possible with thorough source-criticism.
