Absztrakt (kivonat)

The article deals with the history o f three loan-words in Ukrainian: гайдук, doбош and, доломан. The data of the new historical dictionary containing the vocabulary of the Ukrainian sources from the 16* and the early 17* centuries prove that the above mentioned words have come into the Ukrainian language from Hungarian and, their intermediary language was Polish.
