In my essay I analyze the problem of the hungarian gastronomic habits, the disappearance of the conventional meals and spreading fast foods. I write about the problem of the globalization and comsumer society through the example of christmas, display the changes of the customs. Today the hungarian gastronomic identity exists yet (especially on wedding, christmas, easter), but have to make sweeping changes if we want to treasure them.
