The Huklyvyi Chronicle, a Carpatho-Rusyn manuscript from the 17th-19th century currently commands the attention of the scientific world. Since the manuscript was found at the turn of the 19*-20* century, four different editions of the chronicle records were published, which brought about various scientific interpretation. Perhaps this could be the reason why information about the manuscript is often misinterpreted in the works of modem authors and certain mistakes occur in its description. The purpose of the article is to furnish the information about the true history of Carpatho-Rusyn manuscript, the Huklyvyi Chronicle for the scientific community.
