Abstract
Centuries ago, I had the opportunity to study the photo album of a true-born Kunszentmárton family which remained from the bequest of József Dósa, former Kunszentmárton parish priest (1845-1913). József Dósa gathered and systematized the photos of his parents, siblings, relatives and good friends and that of the prominent figures of Kunszentmárton in the nineteenth century (the mayor, solicitors, teachers) in an album. The present study analyses a group photo of the Dósa family and the photo of Dósa József's mother (Mrs. György Dósa, Anna Balia) using data from the history of the family.
