On the basis of references in special literature the authors elaborated a new method for sample preparation in the determination of mercury. In case of this method, the need for chemicals and the time consumption are more favourable, than in the classic procedure using sulphuric acid and potassium permanganate. The essence of the method is, that the measured sample is treated with a 1 : 1 mixture of nitric acid and sulphuric acid and with vanadium pentoxide at 50 °C, then after the addition of hydrogene-peroxide and distilled water the sample is suitable for mercury analysis by flameless atomic absorption. The applicability of the method was proved by experiments for recovery and comparison. Auf Grund von Hinweisen der Literatur wurde von den Verfassern eine neue Methode zur Vorbereitung des Quecksilbers entwickelt, deren Ansprüche an Chemikalien und Zeit viel günstiger sind, als der schon als klassisch betrachteten Mustervorbereitungsmethoden (mittels Schwefelsäure, Kaliumpermanganat). Das Verfahren besteht im wesentlichen daraus, dass man das eingewogene Muster zuerst mit einem 1 : 1 Gemisch von Schwefelsäure und mit Vanadiumpentoxyd bei 50 °C behandelt, sodann nach Zugabe von Wasserstoffperoxyds und destilliertem Wasser die Analyse des Quecksilbers mittels flammenloser Atomabsorption durchgeführt. Die Anwendbarkeit der Methode wurde durch Zurückgewinnungs- und Vergleichsversuche bestätigt. Un mode operatoire nouveau de préparation d’échantillon est élaboré par les auteurs ä la base des références littéraires; l’exigence de temps et d’agent chimique de cette méthode est plus favorable que celle du mode opératoire classique (d’acide sulfurique et du permanganate de potassium). L’échantillon mesuré vient mélangé avec Pacidé nitrique) acide sulfurique de proportion 1 : 1 et traité le pentoxyde de vanadium ä 50 °C puis apres une addition de l’eau oxigénée et l’eau distillée il vient analyse par la spectrophotométrie ä absorption atomique sans flammes. L’utilité de cette méthode est prouvée par des expériences de récupération et comparaison.
