Abstract

Die gaschromatographische Untersuchung eines infolge von Luftverunreinigungen in Wein vorkommenden Geschmackfehlers wird besprochen. Es wurde dabei gefunden, dass die Anwesenheit von bei der Herstellung und Bearbeitung von Kunststoffen entstandenen Styrolderivaten bzw. ihren Pyrolyseprodukten in Wein auf einer P.E.G. 20.000-Kolonne mit 20%iger Befeuchtung nachgewiesen werden kann. Unter den in der Abhandlung beschriebenen Bedingungen sind die verunreinigenden Komponenten von der natürlichen Bestandteilen des Weines gut abtrennbar und nachweisbar. The investigation by gas chromatography of a taste defect in wine caused by air pollution is discussed. It was found that styrene derivatives and their pyrolysis products formed during the production and processing of plastics can be detected in wine by means of a P.E.G. 20.000 column of 20% wetting. Under the conditions specified in the treatise the contaminating components can be readily separated from the native ingredients of wine and detected.
