Verfasser geben die allgemeinen Richtlinien der Vergasung unter Kunststoffplachen bekannt, samt einer Übersicht jener Methoden, die geeignet sind, die Gaskonzentration im vergasten Raum zu verfolgen. Die Untersuchungen die zur nachträglichen Bestimmung der Gasverteilung auf Grund des Gesamtbromidgehaltes der von verschiedenen Teilen des vergasten Produkts entnommenen Proben durchgeführt wurden, werden eingehend behandelt. Hinsichtlich der Wirkung auf Parasiten wurde der Einfluss der Gaskonzentration, Vergasungszeit (c x t), sowie anderer Parameter und - in Abhängigkeit von diesen - die Änderung des Gesamtbromidgehalts in dem behandelten Produkt untersucht. Angaben über die eventuellen Veränderungen in der Keimfähigkeit, dem Nährwert, sowie in den organoleptischen Eigenschaften der vergasten Erbsenpartien werden angeführt. The general principles of the disinfection process under a plastics cover are given. A survey is presented of the methods suitable for following the concentration of the disinfectant in the treated space. A detaiLed report is given of the investigations carried out in order to state the distribution of the gaseous disinfectant, by determining the content of total bromide in samples withdrawn from various places of the heap of seeds treated. From the aspect of effectiveness against pests, the effects of gas concentration and period of disinfection (c. t), and of other parameters were studied, and also the changes in the content of total bromide in the disinfected seeds were investigated, in dependence of these parameters. Data are presented on the changes occurring in the germination capacity, nutrient value and organoleptic properties of peas disinfected by gas treatment.
