Der Verfasser berichtet aufgrund literarischer Angaben über die Bestimmungsniethoden der coliformen Bakterien und über Entwicklung des Prinzips der Beurteilung. Aufgrund von eigenen und einheimischen vergleichenden Untersuchungen beschreibt er den Arbeitsgang bei der Züchtung und Bestimmung von E. coli und anderen Coliformen, sowie die zurzeit übliche Beurteilungsweise. On the basis of data of literature, methods of the determination of coliform bacteria and the development of the principles of their assay are surveyed by the author. Based on own and other Hungarian comparison tests, the techniques and the flowsheet of the growing and determination of E. coli I. and of other coliform bacteria are described. The evaluation method accepted for the time being is presented. L’auteur rend compte, ä partir de données de litérature, des méthodes de détermination des bactéries coli et du développement du principe de leur qualification. A la base de ses propres travaux et des études comparatives, exécutées en Hongrie, il décrit la course de travail de la cultivation et de la détermination de ГЕ. coli I. et d'autres coliformes. II expose ensuite la qualification adoptée ä présent.
