Abstract

Die Verfasser bestimmten den Solaningehalt von aus einer Strahlenquelle Co60 mit einer Dosis von 10 Krad behandelten, sowie Kontrollkartoffeln. Aufgrund der Ergebnisse kann festgestellt werden, dass unter Einwirkung der zur Keimungshemmung der Kartoffeln angewendeten geringen ionisierenden Strahlendosen (10 Krad) - ausser Verlängerung der Lagerfähigkeit und ausser der Keimungshemmung-auch der Solaningehalt im Vergleich mit den Kontrollproben erheblich geringer ist und unter dem — von gesundheitlichem Standpunkte aus — entsprechenden Niveau gehalten werden kann. The solanine content of batches of potatoes treated with a G0Co radiation source by a dose of 10 Krad and that of untreated controls was determined after storage at 8°C and exposure to diffuse light for two weeks. The results proved that on the effect of the low doses of ionizing radiations (10 Krad) applied for the inhibition of potato germination, in addition to the inhibition of germination and the lengthening of the storage period, also the solanine content of potatoes essentially decreased, and could be kept below a level quite safe from hygienic aspects. Les auteurs ont effectué le dosage de la teneur en solanine des pommes de terres irradiées d’une dose de 10 Krad d’une source de radiations Co60, ainsi que des témoins non-irradiés aprés stcokage a 8°C suivi d’un traitement ä lumiére diffuse pendant deux semaines. Les résultats permettent de conclure que les faibles doses de radiations ionisantes (10 Krad) employées afin d’inhiber la germination, non seulement augmentent la stockabilité et empechent la germination, mais entrainent — comparé au témoin — une teneur beaucoup plus faible en solanine. Ainsi, l’irradiation permet de tenir la teneur en solanine sur un niveau qui ne dépasse pás la sécurité hygiénique.
