In der Arbeit wird über die mikrobiologische Bestimmung des Eiweisswertes berichtet. Als Testorganismus diente der Protozoonstamm Tetrahymena pyriformis W. Der Verfasser bespricht die theoretischen Grundlagen der Methode und beschreibt die von ihm angewendete Technik ausführlich. Die erhaltenen Resultate werden mit Angaben der mit verschiedenen Methoden erhaltenen Ergebnisse verschiedener Verfasser verglichen und festgestellt, dass der Teststamm Tetrahymena pyriformis W die allgemein akzeptierte Reihenfolge des Wertes der einzelnen Eiweissstoffe gut wiedergibt. Aufgrund dessen hält er den Stamm für einen zur Prüfung des Eiweisswertes geeigneten Testorganismus. A method is described for the microbiological determination of the protein value. The strain Tetrahymena pyriformis W. of the protozoa served as test organism. The theoretical fundamentals of the method are presented, and the technique applied by the author is described in detail. On comparing the obtained results with the data given by various authors using different methods it was found that the protozoon strain Tetrahymena pyriformis W reflects correctly the generally accepted order of the value of the various proteins. Consequently, the investigated strain appears to be suitable for use as a test organism in the investigation of the value of proteins. La publication rend compte sur le dosage par voie microbienne de la valeur de protéine. On se servait de la souche protozoaire de Tetrahymera pyriformis Wen tant qu’organisme modele. L’auteur décrit les principes théoriques de la méthode et donne une description détaillée de la technique qu’il a employée. En comparant les résultats obtenus avec ceux d’autres auteurs obtenus avec de méthodeg diverses, il constate que la souche Tetrahymena pyriformis refléte conenablement l’ordre généralement adopté par rapport á la valeur des diverses protéines; par conséquant, il estime que la souche se préte comme organisme modele ä l’examen de la valeur de protéine.
