Abstract

Die Arbeit beschreibt den Anwendungsbereich der PVC-Sorten in der Lebensmittelindustrie. Es werten die toxikologischen Probleme der aus den Lebensmitteln herauslösbaren wichtigsten PVC-Komponenten, Zusatzstoffen, (Weichmittel, Stabilisatoren, Gleitmittel usw.) besprochen, mit besonderer Rücksicht auf organische Zinn-Stabilisatoren. Es werden die an die harten PVC-Sorten gestellten lebensmittelhygienischen Forderungen bekanntgegeben, sowie auch Grenzwerte von den bei der Beurteilung eine wichtige Rolle spielenden Extrakten. Weiterhin werden noch einige, der Aufarbeitung entstammende hygienische Probleme besprochen, sowie einige Untersuchungsmethoden. Subsequent to a survey of the fields of applicability of PVC varieties in the food industry, the toxicological problems of the most important PVC components and additives (such as plasticizers, stabilizers, sliding agents etc.) extractable from foods, with particular respect to organic tin stabilizers. The food hygienic requirements in respect to hard PVC varieties and the limit values of extracts of importance from the aspect of the evaluation of such varieties are discussed. Some hygienic problems connected with their processing are treated and certain methods of investigation are described. La communication traite du domaine d’application des espéces de chlorures polyvinyliques (PVC) dans l’industrie alimentaire. L’auteur passe en revue les problémes toxicologiques des composants principaux du PVC ainsi que des additifs qui peuvent passer dans les denrées en considérant en particulier les stabiliseurs organiques ä teneur en étain. On décrit les exigences d’hygiéne alimentair ä l’égard des espéces de PVC dur ainsi que les valeurs limites des extraits qui jouent un role important dans leur appréciation. On s’occupe également de quelques problémes hygiéniques qui se présentent lors du travail de ces matiéres et, enfin, on donne la déscription des méthodes d’analyse.
