Verfasser empfiehlt zur Trennung von Calcium, Strontium und Barium zwei mit Ionenaustausch verbundene chromatographische Verfahren. Methode A: Die Caltium Strontium und Barium enthaltende Lösung wird auf pH 5 eingestellt auf eine aus 10 g Varion KS kationen-austauschendem Kunstharz bereitete 19 -20 cm lange Säule mit einem Durchmesser von 10 mm aufgetragen. Von den gebundenen Substanzen wird das Calcium gesondert mit 150 ml einer 1 M Ammoniumlaktatlösung (pH 5,5), Strontium und Barium zusammen mit 3 n Salzsäure eluiert. Aus der ersten Fraktion wird das Calcium in Form von Oxalat bestimmt. Aus der zweiten Fraktion wird das Barium in Anwesenheit von Komplexon III. in Form von Chromat, aus dem Filtrat aber das Strontium als Oxalat gefälltMethode В: Die alle drei Alkalierdmetalle enthaltende Lösung (pH 5) wird auf die oben beschriebene Kunstharzsäule aufgetragen. Zuerst wird das Calcium mit 150 ml Ammoniumlaktat (1 M, pH 5,5), hernach Strontium mit 150 ml 1,5 n Salzsäure, schliesslich Barium mit 50 ml 1 :1 verdünnter Salzsäure als gesonderte Fraktion eluiert und aus den so gewonnenen Lösungen die gravimetrischen Bestimmungen durchgeführt. Two ion exchange chromatographic methods are suggested by the author for the separation of calcium, strontium and barium. In method A, the solution containing calcium, strontium and barium is adjusted to pH 5 and transferred onto a column of 19-20 cm length and 10 mm diameter, prepared from 10 g of the cation exchanger Varion KS. Of the cations bound by the column, calcium is separately eluted with 150 ml of a 1 M solution of ammonium lactate (of pH 5.5), while strontium and barium are eluted together in the second step with 150 ml of 3 N hydrochloric acid. In the first fraction, calcium is determined as oxalate. In the second fraction, in turn, barium is precipitated as chromate in'the presence of complexone III while strontium is precipitated as oxalate. In method B, the solution, which contains all three alkali earth metals (of pH 5), is transferred onto the exchanger column described above. Subsequently, at first calcium is eluted with 150 ml of 1 M ammonium lactate, then strontium with 150 ml of 1,5 N hydrochloric acid, and in the third step barium is separately eluted with 50 ml 1 : 1 diluted hydrochloric acid. In the obtained three separate fractions, the cations are determined by conventional gravimetry. L’auteur préconise pour la séparation du calcium, du stroncium et du barium deux méthodes de Chromatographie a échange d’ions. Méthode A: la solution ajustée á pH 5 contenant du calcium, du stroncium et du barium est versée sur une colonne longue de 19 á 20 cm et d’un diamétre de 10 mm faite avec 10 g de résine synthétique échangeur d’ions Varion KS. Le calcium fixé est ensuite élűé séparément avec 150 ml de lactate d’ammonium á 1 mól (pH 5,5), le stroncium et le barium sont élués ensemble avec 150 ml d’acide chlorhydrique 3 n. Le calcium est dósé dans la premiere fraction sous forme d’oxalate. Dans la deuxiéme fraction le barium est dósé sous forme de chromate en présence de Komplexon III, et dans le filtrat la stroncium est précipité sous forme d’oxalate. Méthode В: la solution (pH 5) des trois métaux alcalinoterreux est versée sur la colonne de résine décrite plus haut. Le calcium est élue tout d’abord avec 150 ml de lactate d’ammonium á 1 mol, ensuite le stroncium avec 150 ml d’acide chlorhydrique 1,5 n et dans une autre fraction le barium avec 50 ml d’acide chlorhydrique dilué 1 : 1. Le dosage gravimetrique se fait avec les solu~ tions ainsi obtenues.
